Buchanan's has been manufacturing Sun Rims for motorcycles since 1987. We make them here on site, from start to finish. They are made with superior 6,000 series aluminum purchased only from U.S. mills. We produce Sun Rims well within international standards for concentricity and diameter of plus or minus .015” (many overseas rims do not meet this standard and can be undersized as much as .100”). We also shrink them in a circumpress, eliminating any elongation created during rolling, resulting in a rim more durable to impact. Before turning, Sun Rims are within .020” of round (we have seen new rims as much as .250” out of round). Our final process for making the roundest rims in the industry is CNC machine finishing all surfaces. Additionally, we do not pre-drill with off-the-shelf drill patterns, but custom drill your rim to suit your specific spoke angles. Sun Rims - Quality made in the U.S.A.
Sun Rims are NOT pre-drilled. Please state Make, Model and Year, Front or Rear, Disc or Drum when
you submit your order. Rim lock holes can be drilled, but only upon request at the time of your order. All Sun Rims are available anodized in Black and Gold for an additional fee. To order your rim with color anodizing,
please select your rim and then add your color choice from the colors available at the bottom of this page. |

All rims wider than 2.75" require shorter spokes than those rims that are 2.75"
and narrower. We call these aftermarket Deep Drop Center rims (DP D/C). Prices shown are for 40 holes or less. For additional pricing on drilling over 40 holes, see below. Sun Rims are also available color anodized for an additional fee.

Black and Gold in stock, however Red and Blue are special order and will take 3-4 weeks for delivery. PLEASE NOTE: Blue, Red and Purple are no longer available. To order your rim color anodized, please select the rim from above, and then add your color choice from this list.
